Our Recruitment Standards

We pride ourselves in only providing the highest skilled professionals; our recruitment team ensures every successful new locum undergoes thorough checks.

This process includes new candidates to complete a detailed application form, provide an up to date CV, and also proof of qualifications in Podiatry. We would also ensure that the State Registration details are taken and verified with the HPC, and ensure that the locum is up to date with their vaccinations and have medical proof in their file. We also understand that as the locums would be working unsupervised with either children or vulnerable adults all our staff undergoes an enhanced criminal check with the Criminal Records Bureau. A minimum of 2 professional references are taken prior to confirming any secondary employment.

As per the NHS latest contracts, all staff need to undergo a certain amount of training, and we value that, hence we constantly monitor the candidate progression.

Prior to launching our agency in the market place, our recruitment team gathered data and candidates with the best skills, professionalism, and reliability and with their ability we are certain that they will meet your precise needs.

Upon receiving your locum request, our team will ensure that they search the best candidates who match your criteria and only then will a CV be sent to you. We value that for a manager time is precious, so we would send a minimal number of CV's for your selection.

Our Candidate Induction

After the thorough vetting of the candidates' applications and the completion of the relevant checks, all locums would receive an introductory letter from FootCare+ along with a copy of the Podiatrist's code for locums.

The induction programme also consists of full assignment briefings (which will be obtained by ourselves from the clients prior to providing any cover), ongoing assessment of clinical aptitudes, necessary security measures, punctuality, completion of notes and stats forms and also the requirement of post gradual training, completion and sending of statistical information for the managers.

With the correct guidance and policy structure we would like to give you as a manager peace of mind that your department is in the best of hands.

Time Sheet

It is the locum's responsibility to ensure that the timesheet provided to them by us should be completed accurately and authorized by a designated person prior to leaving the premises.

Upon receiving the completed timesheet in the office we would send a copy of the timesheet and the invoice to your finance department for payment.

Confidentiality

It is always stressed to the candidates that confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us and our clients, and any breaches in confidentiality will be dealt with in the most severe manner.

Booking of Locums

Please note that we are able to provide locums on temporary, adhoc, long term and short term contracts. We can also assist in filling up your suitable permanent placements.
